The Craft of Attachment– a Poetic short Film of “ArtCarft is LoveCraft”, the Workshop

(Summer and fall, 2025)

In this poetic short documentary, created in collaboration with artist Fredrik Bjernelind, Artcraft is Lovecraft explores emotional resources and collective weaving as a form of social inclusion. Through thread, touch, and presence, a story unfolds – one of empathy, for oneself and for others, expressed through the movement and choreography of hands in creation.

Set within the parklek environment, the film captures encounters between children, adults, and artists of diverse backgrounds, weaving together both literally and symbolically. Through the tactile language of textiles, connections are formed across generations, languages, and life experiences.

With visual poetry and embodied gestures, the film documents how shared making can open pathways to belonging, safety, and restoration. Artcraft is Lovecraft frames the parklek not only as a site of cultural heritage but as a contemporary stage for participatory art – a space for healing, collective care, and slow transformation.
